Camping Barn Eilidh Lee

Our camping barn has a sleeping area for 8 upstairs, with a ground floor kitchen and a separate sitting and dining area. It has a toilet and shower within the building. Heating is from a wood burning stove (wood extra). The farm has a Tea Garden with all home baking.

Inside

The kitchen is basically but adequately equipped. The wood burning stove provides ample heat and acts as a focal point for the evening's reflections on the events of the day. Its warmth enables the barn to be used through out the year. Upstairs there is space to sleep 8. Mattresses are provided but don't forget your sleeping bags. A camping barn is essentially a stone tent.

Outside

Parking space is available for 2 cars outside the barn. further parking available over the bridge. There is a barbeque and outside seating area with mountain and river views.

Your walks can start form the doorstep following the Woodland Trail, or along the river path. You will find a profusion of birds, including dippers, kingfishers, buzzards and herons. Red squirrels, badgers, hares, deer and otters may be seen in their natural habitats. Bats and owls will join you at dusk when the salmon and trout are rising.

Pets

2 Well behaved Dogs welcome - Sole Occupancy Only Dogs are not to be left in cars. They must be kept under control at all times and we should remind you that the owner of the dog is responsible for any damage it causes to farm stock. If a dog is not properly controlled we reserve the right to ask that it be removed from the premises.

Other Information

Arrival time is after 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the morning of departure. Minimum 2 night bookings, Bank Holidays 3 nights

We also have a self-catering hayloft on site.
