Woodland Trail Eilidh Lee

Woodland Trail

The Trail is currently closed owing to essential tree work (April 2021)
The farm is managed in an environmentally friendly way, reflecting the responsibilities and rewards of Stewardship. This benefits both wildlife and visitors. You can see this in action as you follow our woodland trail through Sosgill Wood.

The trail begins immediately behind the farmhouse and climbs through the woods. There are two observation points facing north and south and an explanatory sheet shows the distant geology, geography and landscape history. The prize winning trail has seats for the quiet observation of our varied bird life.

Copies of the trail leaflet are available free of charge at the Tea Garden. Allow 45 minutes for the trail.

Our Woodland Display illustrates the many uses of woodland and shows examples of local craftsmanship.
